We think you’re going to love it here, but you don’t have to take our word for it. If you have a few minutes, read what our first ever graduating seniors have to say about being a part of our dancefam.
Isabella Philippus
2026 Graduate
Horizon High School
Northern Colorado (Business Major, Dance Minor)
Bella has been dancing with Miss Dena and Miss Janelle since she was a baby, and dance has become an inseparable part of who she is. After a brief break to play basketball, she eagerly returned when EDC opened and has continued training in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop, and breakdancing. As Co-Captain of the EDC Dance TEAM for 4 years, she discovered a love for leadership while building lifelong friendships and confidence. Bella believes the studio is more than a place to dance—it’s a second home filled with teachers who feel like family and teammates who have shaped the person she is today. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family, watching her favorite TV shows, or enjoying the mountains.

Emma Kerber
2026 Graduate
Riverdale Ridge High School
Colorado State University (Double Major: Bio-Med and Dance)
Miss Emma has been dancing since she was four years old, but she truly found her home at Elevate Dance Center. Training under Miss Dena, Miss Janelle, and Miss Sara, she has studied ballet, pointe, hip hop, breakdance, lyrical, acro, tap, and jazz. As Co-Captain of the EDC TEAM during the 2021–2022 season, Emma discovered a passion for leading others while learning that growth comes one step—and sometimes just 1%—at a time. She credits Elevate with teaching her far more than dance technique: the confidence to embrace challenges, the value of constructive feedback, and the reminder that progress matters more than perfection. When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Emma with a good book, hiking in the mountains, tending to her plants, or spending time with her family and two dogs. She hopes every dancer who walks through Elevate’s doors discovers the same sense of belonging, resilience, and joy that has shaped her into the person she is today.
