Miss Ansley
Teacher, Front Desk

Miss Ansley grew up dancing and competing since the age of four in an attempt to make her movements more graceful in gymnastics, but ended up falling in love with dance! She trained in many different genres, including tap, hip hop, contemporary, modern, lyrical, ballet, and breakdance, but her favorite when she was younger was acrobatics. Her best dance memory is when she went to a convention to learn from Mia Michaels! Now as an adult she enjoys ballet the most. Ansley found Elevate Dance Center because of the adult dance program and made it her home when Miss Dena asked her to join the team!

In her life, Ansley always strives to bring support and joy to everyone around her, making her a very charismatic teacher who loves to have fun and bring smiles to everyone around her. When she isn’t dancing, you might see her around town walking dogs! But she enjoys the indoors too with a nice hot cup of coffee and a good hobby like reading, crocheting, or knitting.

How To Be Successful In Miss Ansley’s Classes

HIP HOP

Hi, Dancers! Please arrive 5 minutes early to change into your DEDICATED hip hop shoes. Please, please, please do not wear your hip hop shoes out into the world. They are for the studio only! Hang your coat and leave your street shoes in the hallway. I will bring in the next class BEFORE dismissing the last class into the hallway to avoid congestion. Set your water bottle against the wall and begin stretching. Arrive prepared by dressing in a black leotard and tights (convertible, stirrup or footless are best for these classes), with hair secured. Wear sweats or workout leggings over your tights to protect them during floor work.
